With Frank's background in theater and John Henry coming off a stint as a journalist in South Africa, the brothers began writing together in Brooklyn six years ago.
On the strength of their first original comic screenplay, they were commissioned to write a feature-length treatment (Hotel Trinidad) that they later adapted into a short film, shot in Texas in 2004. In 2005 the brothers wrote and produced a short film on commission for executive producer, Enrico Hale, FEAR UNCERTAINTY and DOUBT a marriage comedy. |
In 2007, an independently written screenplay of John Henry's (The Line Between, Skyfest distinction 2009) got the attention of the boutique management company Man Down Pictures. Currently, the brothers are at work on two original features.
For television, the brothers continue development on a reality series and two narrative pilots. They recently collaborated on a short for Josh Brolin's production company, United We Stand, and John Henry's entry in New York's 48 Hour Film Festival, Together Forever.
Independently Frank works as a playwright (Heideman Finalist, 2005). He is currently attending Mac Wellman's MFA playwriting program at Brooklyn College (projected graduation, Dec 2011). Frank is also writing a novel.
In addition to John Henry's original screenplays, he is developing two narrative television series and writing web-isodes for The Joe Randazzo Association.
